Our Story
Founded by a Ukrainian soul and reborn in India, Svitlo meaning light, was born from the union of two cultures and two ways of seeing the world: the depth and emotion of West, and the warmth and spirit of East.

In the rush of everyday life, I create small rituals to pause and unwind.
For me, a beautiful scented candle transforms the moment and space into something magical.
Sand Wax Innovation
Svitlo Sand Wax reimagines the candle as something fluid, personal, and ever-evolving. Made from pure palm wax in soft white granules and delicately scented with white tea, it becomes part of the space itself adding depth, softness, and visual interest.
Unlike traditional candles, it invites you to create your own ritual. Pour it into any vessel, let it float on water, or shape it freely each arrangement becoming a reflection of your mood and surroundings.
There is no fixed form, no final state. Rather than melting away, the wax retains its structure—easily moved, reset, and smoothed—so it always appears fresh, full, and effortlessly composed.
An evolving expression of light, shaped entirely by you.
At Svitlo, we don't sell candles we sell feelings,
offering light not only to your space, but to your spirit.
THE HERITAGE NARRATIVE
Why We Created Svitlo
We created Svitlo from a gap we couldn’t ignore.
In India, it was difficult to find candles that felt both sculptural and intentional pieces that carried a sense of architectural beauty while remaining clean, non-toxic, and thoughtfully made. What we were searching for didn’t exist in the way we imagined it.
At the same time, we longed for a more refined scent experience something that went beyond fragrance, capturing the fleeting nature of light and the grounding presence of earth. A candle that wasn’t just used, but felt.
So we built Svitlo with a slow-burn philosophy.
For us, true beauty is not rushed or excessive it is sustainable, honest, and deeply felt. Each fragrance is designed as a story, inspired by nature, culture, and emotion. Every piece carries a human touch, where European craftsmanship meets the depth of Indian soulfulness.
Svitlo is not just about candles.
It is about creating objects that hold presence, atmosphere, and meaning.

The Minimalist Guide
Maximize the life and scent throw of your candle with these four essential rituals.
Trim wick to 3–5mm
Before every burn, trim the wick. This ensures a clean, smoke-free flame and prevents mushrooming.
First burn 2-3 hours
Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar during the first light to set the candle's 'memory' and to prevent tunneling
Do not blow out - use snuffer
Extinguish the flame by depriving it of oxygen. Blowing out a candle can create smoke and soot.
Don't move until solidified
Allow the wax to solidify before moving the candle to preserve aesthetics and avoid burns.
Light Slower. Live Softer.
